Despite a strong start by the hosts, Crystal Palace fell to a 3-0 defeat to 2nd place Manchester City in Sunday afternoon’s fixture.

Lando Norris takes home the Drivers’ Championship after a crucial podium finish at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The British driver crossed the line behind Championship contender Max Verstappen and teammate/ fellow Championship contender Oscar Piastri.

Pole sitter George Russell took off straight away leaving Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri on his tail. McLaren’s other driver, Lando Norris had to settle on a fifth place after qualifying. When the lights went out, the Brit had a good start, immediately shooting  forward, taking the inside line and going wheel-to-wheel with teammate Oscar Piastri. This forward move caused Norris to make contact with Max Verstappen’s Red Bull, while also nudging teammate Oscar Piastri to the side.

The Gunners put in a formidable display against West Ham, with goals from Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.

A heat hazard has been declared for this weekend at the Marina Bay track. What does this mean exactly? Well two years ago at the Qatar Grand Prix there were extremely high levels of heat and humidity and since then the FIA has begun an analysis of how they can manage similar situations in the future. When a heat hazard warning is issued the teams need to add a ‘driver cooling system’ to the car, that will essentially keep the drivers cool and safe in the extreme heat.
