On Tuesday, Sarina Wiegman announced her last England squad before the team jets off to Switzerland to defend their European title.
Ella Morris was amongst the names to be selected, alongside 19-year-old Michelle Agyemang.
Whilst Agyemang has already been part of the senior squad and impressed Wiegman by scoring 41 seconds into her debut, Morris is a fresh face in the side.
The 22-year-old moved to Tottenham Hotspur last summer from Southampton, and after returning from a MCL injury, she has made a real impression for her debut season in the Women’s Super League.
She started and played every minute of Spurs’ last eight games this season, and scored her first goal against Aston Villa in that run. Her strong performances have been enough to show Sarina Wiegman she deserves a spot in the squad that face Portugal and Spain in the last UEFA Women’s Nations League group stage games later this month.
Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp and Georgia Stanway have also joined back up with the squad after missing the last few camps due to injury.
