
Brann travel to Leigh sports village on Thursday night 19:00 kick off to take on Manchester United in the UEFA Women's Champions League Third qualifying round. Brann go into the tie with a 1-0 aggregate after being the Manchester last Thursday. United are looking to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history after losing to Paris Saint-Germain at the same point in the 23/24 addition of the competition. While Brann are looking to qualify for the 2nd time after making it to the quarterfinals in 2024 losing 5-2 over the 2 legs to Barcelona who went on to win the tournament.
Man United have played 2 games in their domestic league a 4-0 win against Leicester and a 5-1 win against London City Lionesses with Melvine Malard scoring 4 across both games helping United to claim top spot so far.
Brann are top of their league after 20 games just losing 1 game 1-0 against Lyn, recently beating Hønefoss 2-0 with both goals being scored by Brenna Lovera.
