Aitana Bonmati has won the Women’s Ballon D’or for the third consecutive time for her efforts for both Spain and Barcelona Women’s teams over the past season.
For Barcelona, she made 58 appearances, scored 20 goals and assisted 16 times, which leaves her as one of Barcelona’s top scorers for the 2024/25 season. She also assisted Barcelona in their victories in Liga F, the Spanish Cup and the Super Cup.
She also saw many successes in this summer’s Euros, where she helped Spain get to the final against England where they ultimately lost, but Aitana Bonmati’s attacking prowess was certainly on display throughout the tournament. She got one goal and one assist across the tournament and set up many other diverse attacking plays for her team to utilise and score from.
She is a sensational footballer, with the ability to make snap decisions that lead to her team’s success and to her being recognised for her successes and her footballing prowess.
